Greg Opean
Packinghouse’s Wednesday night worship service from October 28, 2026. As God continues giving His law to Israel, we see His desire to establish a society built on justice, personal responsibility, and compassion. Through laws concerning theft, restitution, negligence, and disputes between neighbors, God teaches His people to take responsibility for their actions and make things right when others have been wronged. He also makes His heart for the vulnerable unmistakably clear, commanding Israel to protect the poor, widows, orphans, and foreigners rather than take advantage of them. Though these laws were given thousands of years ago, the principles behind them still reveal God's character and challenge us to reflect His heart in the way we treat others. As His people, we're called to live differently, honoring Him through integrity, generosity, and a genuine concern for the well-being of those around us.
