This chapter is raw and shocking on purpose, showing us just how broken people really are and how God actually works in the middle of it. As the story shifts from Joseph to Judah, we see him spiral into compromise, deception, and failure, creating a mess that nearly destroys the very line God is using to bring salvation into the world, yet even in that chaos God is still at work, preserving His plan and proving that He doesn’t wait for people to get their act together before He uses them. What stands out is this: flesh fails, but God is faithful, and even when everything looks like it’s falling apart—even when the mess is self-inflicted—God is still redeeming, still weaving broken stories into His greater purpose, showing us that if He didn’t let go of them, He’s not letting go of you either.
