This study looks back at Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and the four compromises Pharaoh offered Moses as a picture of the subtle compromises believers still face today. Pharaoh tells Israel to worship without leaving Egypt, not to go too far, to leave their families behind, and finally to leave their possessions, but Moses refuses each offer and remains committed to what God commanded. The message encourages believers not to settle for a halfway commitment to the Lord, but to surrender every area of life to Him, resist the pull of the world, and rely on the Holy Spirit to walk in obedience.
