The natural man can hear the truth of God and think it sounds foolish, but the person who has surrendered to Christ has received the Spirit of God and therefore can begin to understand the things freely given by God, even the deep things of God. That means the Christian life is not just about learning information, but about having God Himself living in you, giving you the mind of Christ and changing your desires from the inside out.
